Most Garner orders are the smaller ones: a 12 as a hostess gift, a 24 for a family birthday. It is the part of the service area where the single-box order is the norm rather than the exception.
Ordering for a weekend
Three days’ notice covers a Saturday delivery ordered on Wednesday. Everything is baked and filled within a day of the date you pick.
Choosing a single box
When the order is one box, the usual advice to mix three flavors does not apply, so choose for the person. Strawberry is the one nobody sends back; coffee is for someone who finds most desserts too sweet; lemon sits happily between the two.
A gift that arrives on its own
Garner boxes are often sent rather than carried — a thank-you, a birthday at someone’s door. Add a note at checkout and it goes in the box with the price left off, and choose a date you know someone will be home to take it in.
